This puzzle game looks simple - pour water between tubes to match colors. But as levels get harder, even experienced players get stuck. Here are 10 proven strategies to beat every stage.

1. Plan Backwards

Don't start by moving the first color you see. Instead, look at the final state you want - each tube with one pure color - and work backwards to figure out which moves lead there.

2. Empty a Tube First

Whenever possible, try to empty one tube completely. An empty tube gives you a "free space" to maneuver colors around - it's your most powerful resource.

3. Never Split a Color

Avoid splitting the same color across more than two tubes. The more fragmented a color is, the harder it becomes to consolidate later.

4. Group Colors Early

In the early moves, focus on grouping the same color together in one tube, even if it's not complete yet. This sets you up for the final consolidation phase.

5. Watch Tube Capacity

Each tube holds exactly 4 units. Before pouring, count how many units will go in - never overflow a tube as this blocks your strategy.

6. Use Hints Wisely

Save your hints for genuinely stuck moments - not for impatience. Hints are most valuable when you have 2-3 tubes left to complete.

7. Prioritize Pure-Color Tubes

When a tube has only one color (even partially), make completing that tube your next goal. Single-color tubes are easier to finish and clear space.

8. Don't Rush

Water Sort is a patience game. Take 10-15 seconds to scan all tubes before each move. Rushed moves are the #1 cause of getting stuck.

9. Reset Without Guilt

If you're stuck, use "Undo" multiple times or restart the level. There's no penalty for restarting - it's part of the strategy.

10. Practice Level Patterns

Certain color layouts repeat across levels. Once you recognize a pattern, the solution becomes much faster. After 20+ levels, you'll start seeing these instantly.
